Terms & Conditions

1. About These Terms

These terms apply to anyone booking a workshop or weekly program through Ducella Labs, whether as an individual family or on behalf of a school, Multi-Academy Trust, council, or community interest company.

2. Bookings (Individual Families)

• Bookings are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
• Each session has a stated age range and limited capacity; we cannot guarantee a place once full.
• A free trial session may be offered for eligible weekly programs, limited to one trial per family.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations by a parent/guardian (one-off Workshops):

• Cancel 14 or more days before the session: full refund.
• Cancel fewer than 14 days, but more than 48 hours before the session: no refund, but you may reschedule to another available session at no extra cost.
• Cancel within 48 hours of the session: no refund, and no right to reschedule.

If Ducella Labs needs to cancel a session (e.g. instructor illness, venue unavailability), you will be offered a full refund or a free reschedule — whichever you prefer.

Weekly Programs are currently booked under the same terms as one-off Workshops above. Separate terms for ongoing monthly subscriptions will be published once introduced.

4. Health, Safety & Conduct

• Parents/guardians must disclose any medical conditions or allergies relevant to their child's safe participation.
• The liability waiver and emergency medical consent are mandatory and must be accepted before a child can attend.
• We reserve the right to remove a child from a session if their behavior poses a safety risk to themselves or others.

5. Photography & Media

Photo/video consent is entirely optional and never required to attend a session. Where consent has been given, images may be used for marketing purposes unless and until consent is withdrawn.

6. For Schools, MATs, Councils & CICs

Institutional pricing is determined on a case-by-case basis following a direct conversation, and is not published as a fixed rate.

7. Intellectual Property

• Designs, code, and physical objects created by a student during a session belong to that student/family.
• Course materials, curriculum content, and branding remain the intellectual property of Ducella Labs.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
